An all-outdoors day camp for children entering 1st-4th grades.
Half-day program for ages 4 and up beginning this year!
Designed to connect children to plants through a combination of structured, themed activities and open-ended time to develop curiosity, initiative, imagination and creativity. Themes include gardening, art, wellness, and ecology. Digital camp brochure is available here.
Garden Camp sessions June 3-June 26 are cancelled due to the on-going COVID-19 crisis. Full refunds will be provided for those impacted by these cancellations. Updates on the June 29 session and beyond will be determined as the situation progresses and will be posted here. Camper and staff health and safety are Garden Camp's utmost priorities and will guide our decision-making.
The Garden has a proven track record for providing high-quality youth education programs to children and families for more than 20 years. Last year, nearly 13,000 children experienced the Garden through programs. Garden Camp will extend this experience, affording children another way to explore, discover, and love the Garden.
As an all-outdoors camp, Garden Camp will occur rain or shine. Extreme weather (sustained high winds or unhealthy air quality, for example) may cancel Camp if indoor facilities are not available. Campers should come prepared with layers of clothing, including rain gear, comfortable shoes, a reusable water bottle and a low-waste lunch. Campers will receive a morning and afternoon snack of fresh fruit or vegetables, and water. Garden Camp is striving to be a zero-waste program; help us by limiting single-use plastics in your child’s lunchbox!
