Camellia cuspidata is a large shrub native to southeastern China. Camellia cuspidata is an evergreen species with flowers that bloom early in the winter here in the Bay Area.
Hiba Cedar can be found on the Conifer Lawn (Bed 46b) and the Temperate Asia Garden (Beds 4B and 20).

Aristolochia californica is located on the Redwood Trail in Beds 48H and 48I on shaded slopes, scrambling over rhododendrons and elderberries, and growing up the bases of redwoods. It can also be found in the Arthur L. Menzies Garden of California Native Plants on the northwest side of Bed 40B, covering a rose thicket.
Taxus baccata can be found in the Redwood Grove (specifically surrounding the outdoor redwood classroom, Beds 48G and 48N); Temperate Asia Garden (Bed 20); Rhododendron Garden (Beds 73D, 73E); California Garden (Bed 40A.)
Tree dahlias are located in the Mesoamerican Cloud Forest (Beds 14A, 24G, 25A, 25C, 26E).
Telanthophora grandifolia is located southern edge of the great meadow in the Meso-American Cloud Forest Garden (Bed 14).
Magnolia laevifolia 'Strybing Compact' is located in the Library Terrace (Bed 6L).
Magnolia laevifolia can be found in the Temperate Asia Garden (Bed 4A); the Moon Viewing Garden (Bed 74); and the Ancient Plant Garden (Bed 68B).
Leucospermum spp. can be found in the South African garden (Beds 26B, 27F, 27H, 30, 32A-C, 42A, 42B, 43).

Chlorogalum pomeridianum is located in the Arthur L. Menzies Garden of California Native Plants (Beds 34B and 38B).
Bowkeria verticillata (Eckl. & Zeyh.) Druce is an attractive shrub from South Africa. Uncommon in cultivation, the Natal shell flower bush has white flowers that play an important ecological role in their native habitat.
Arbutus menziesii is located in the Arthur L. Menzies Garden of California Native Plants (Beds 32C and 38A).
Rosmarinus is located in the Mediterranean Garden (Bed 28) and the Garden of Fragrance (Bed 11).
Grevillea victoriae is a large, cold hardy shrub native to Victoria, Australia with bright orange to red blooms.
Camellia sinensis can be found in the Asian Discovery Garden (Bed 10A) and the Camellia Garden (Bed 58).
