Story Time & Family Garden Walk

First and Third Sunday of Every Month!

Though the library is temporarily closed, great nature stories abound!

Check out these summer reading recommendations from our librarians.

Parents, email your child's book review to library@sfbg.org for their chance to win a literary raffle prize.

(Book reviews can be a few sentences long, and prompts could include: "What did you like about the book? Did you learn anything new? Did anything in the story remind you of your own life?" Please include your child's first name and age.)

First and third Sunday of every month at 10:30; family garden walk departs the Library at 11:00

Story Time is suitable for children aged 4-8.

Entrance to the Library and Story Time is always free for all visitors.

 Enjoy rhymes, songs, and stories especially for babies! Have a ball with your little one while learning how you can support their early literacy through fun and simple daily activities. It’s a joyful opportunity to explore our children’s nature library and meet other families. Make a day of it and bring a picnic to enjoy in the Garden!

For infants and babies up to 18 months and their caregivers.

In a Garden with author Tim McCanna

Acclaimed author Tim McCanna celebrates gardens, nature, and critters galore in his vibrant new picture book, In a Garden.

 

Join us for a very special story time with Tim, who will share his newest book and some original ukulele tunes!

 

Book sales/signing and a family garden walk will round out the event.
