Looking for a fun, free and easy-to-coordinate activity? Join us in our cozy children's book nook for lively readings of nature-themed stories. Afterward, families can enjoy a special docent-led family Garden walk that brings the stories to life.
First and third Sunday of every month at 10:30; family garden walk departs the Library at 11:00

Be sure to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Story Time is suitable for children aged 4-8.
Entrance to the Library and Story Time is always free for all visitors.

Baby Story Time is back! Enjoy rhymes, songs, and stories especially for babies! Have a ball with your little one while learning how you can support their early literacy through fun and simple daily activities. It’s a joyful opportunity to explore our children’s nature library and meet other families. Make a day of it and bring a picnic to enjoy in the Garden!

Special Story Time

Join local author-illustrator Meenal Patel as she shares her acclaimed picture book, Priya Dreams of Marigolds & Masala. This joyful story is a celebration of the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren, the threads that connect each of us to our heritage, and the power of sharing our traditions with others. An art activity and book sales/signing will round out the event. Best suited for children aged 4-8.
