San Francisco Botanical Garden is a public/private partnership between San Francisco Botanical Garden Society and the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to meeting the Garden’s mission of connecting people and plants, contributing more than 45,000 hours per year to Garden operations and services.

 

Volunteers support the Garden in countless ways- check out the following opportunities and sign up today! 

 

 

A majority of volunteer positions require no gardening experience or special knowledge. Through volunteering at the Garden, you will learn from working with professionals in horticulture and education, plus gain hands-on experience.
